Last one we went on was Ireland back in 2006. We had so much fun.
This was absolutely incredible. I cannot tell you how much fun it is to get to vacation in luxury style with the bill completely covered (amazing!). We ate the best food, we saw the best places! We went on the greatest excursions. What a great time!
So, without further ado.... the documentation of our trip.
{Beware: LOTS of photos, don't say I didn't warn you...}
Upon arrival, we were in heaven! The weather was beautiful, the resort was stunning.
We spent our first day laying and lounging....
Then Kenny and I went out to dinner and a movie in Miami.
KEY WEST, FL
On Monday we jumped in the car and drove to Key West. It was a long drive, but a beautiful one! Key West is a unique city and I was so happy we got to go see it.

(Fried Strawberries! YUMMMYYY!!)
Then Mama Bo took us on the Conch Train Tour of the city (historic section)
We saw the beginning....
The large tree in the military burial grounds
Blue porch ceilings...
That looks lovely....
Conch Mobile
Didn't eat here, but dessert only? My kind of place!
and we saw the end....
We ate frozen key lime pie on a stick (dipped in chocolate.)
we saw some odd people...
some sea sponges...

Some cool things in Ripley's (we didn't go in, just saw from the sidewalk)
ART IN THE CITY
Tuesday we lounged, and had sushi (amazing!)
Kenny and I went to THE VILLA (the Versace Villa) for the Eagles Dinner, it was unbelievably great. I had no idea how cool our location was until I was on the bus, and I immediately regretted not bringing my big camera, so I documented the best I could with my phone....
special gift from the company (fragrance for her and him)
Wednesday we lounged and went on a long walk, I went to the spa, and we relaxed...
Then we went to the Welcome Buffet Dinner. I've never seen so much lobster in my life.
Thursday we went to the EVERGLADES
There was a very unique Gator show (very unlike the one we saw 2 years ago)
After the trek through the Everglades, we came home and relaxed...
Then we headed to a pool side dinner
(again, I didn't think much of it... but I should have brought my camera...)
We had sycronized swimmers! They preformed twice! Talented ladies!
Vizcaya (The Gatsby Formal)
Vizcaya Gardens
THE INSIDE of Vizcaya (what little I saw)
THE CREW (LFG)
(L-R: Therese, Jeff, Howie, Nichole, Chelsea & Kenny)
Shore break "ship"
It poured rain, and most every one's hair got ruined, mine included, but by then, who cares! We were all thrilled to be a part of such an incredible event!

There was a fabulous band who played era specific music phenomenally (best saxophone trombone & trumpet I've ever personally witnessed ) then transitioned into live modern pop (like Black Eyed Peas!) It was so much fun!
Dinner & Dancing
The most decedent dessert bar...
My Man (I snuck in some candids)
Did I mention FIREWORKS?
Our Saturday we just RELAXED. All day. Didn't go anywhere.
We laid around. It was bliss.
The Lizards pretty much did the same...
We laid in the sun, sipped on a Chocolate Monkey (Kenny) & Coconut Mojito (me) Both virgin, of course! We read books, chatted with friends & chilled. Actually I didn't chill, I got an incredibly awesome (somewhat tender) sunburn, which is now tan, so I'm all good. We soaked in every relaxing vitamin D sun ray that there was in Florida!
On our Final Night we went down to the ballroom for the Miami Extravaganza!
(Crap. I didn't bring my big camera again... I will cart it with me EVERYWHERE in the future...)
What an incredible trip.... I mean it!!!
When would I ever get the opportunity to vacation like this?!?!?! To stay in a top-of-the-top resort (in a suite, mind you!), eat like a king (the food is sinfully delightful!), see the best of the best of the location and area (tours, activities!), get special treatment everywhere I go, attend events in exclusive places, visit with all my great friends (maybe go to a meeting or two), and do it all with such flair! American National sure spoils us.... Below is my charm, a reminder of this fabulous trip. Not that I'd ever forget it! What fun!
