Kanab

This weekend we went to Kanab for Cortni's wedding. She was a stunning bride, and we had the most wonderful weekend. So relaxing, so much good family around, and we truly had a wonderful time.

Grandpa Sean was stunned when Corinne was so very friendly and loving toward him. You see last time she saw him, she was all frightened. So this time, he was cautious to see what she'd do. She clung to him and loved being with him! She got him to feed her chocolate, and she sat on his lap as happy as can be. She adores her Grandpa Sean!

I happened to snap some pictures after the sealing, as we all waited for Brandt and Cortni to come out of the temple....

On Saturday afternoon and Sunday we just hung out. Chilled. And enjoyed the beauty of home. The ranch was lovely. Really. Green, and the most perfect outside weather you can imagine.

Kallin in heaven on gramps' Harley.
Funny Story. We got to the reception on Friday night and Kallin saw this tractor, sitting out in the far corner of the parking lot. He got so excited! He ran over to it, and gave it a good looking-over. Once he was satisfied that he'd seen all that he needed to see, we snaped a picture of him.

Oh, and Sunday morning, we went and picked ourselves some wild asparagus in our PJ's. YUM. That's how we do it. So good. Seriously, it's amazing.

Always Spoiled

It's mother's day. One of my favorite days. I awoke to breakfast in bed. Yum. Dad helped Coco make fried eggs with feta cheese and ham. Yum! Then I got to open my gifts.
(shout out to the teachers who coordinate these gifts. YOU ROCK.)
popsicle stick jewelry box from my angel Colette.

A look-alike card from Colette with "my mom is the best cooker" inside.
2nd page (not shown) said "I love you"

A hand-painted plaster garden stone from Kallin
a handprint bouquet of flowers from Kallin
And a hand-made bag from Kallin also.

I got a million hugs and kisses. Everyone helped pick up the house today, Kenny did all the dishes, and I got to take a nap.

Later Eric and Brie came over for Dinner and dessert.

Best. Day. Ever.
Happy Mother's Day to everyone.
My mom especially.

Mother's Day Saturday

Today my wonderful hubby (who had been out of town all week) took me for a little R&R at Green Valley Ranch pool. We got there and from 9:45 to 1:30 it was just him and I. We had lunch poolside and soaked up the Vitamin D. It's amazing what a little rest time does for you!
Wonderful. Like a mini-mini-vacation.
I'm calling this my Mother's Day Day. It was so fun.
Then at 2 we went and got the kids and brought them back to GVR and they got to have a blast in the pool! It was a really warm day so my kids were little fishies! Anyhow, here are the photos from our day.

This was Kallin's swiming. Under, eyes open, a true fish!

big hugs for daddy!

after his long day, and eventful eye-open swim, Kallin took some time out of the water, I joined him. He actually laid with me and snuggled and hid under a towel to keep warm, but at that time Kenny was following Corinne around, who was trying to figure out how to swim like a big girl with floaties on. She was so frustrated that she wasn't able to do it!
