Instagrams Again.

Sometimes I really don't have a chance to fully document my life.
Ok, I never do.
I even carry a real camera EVERYWHERE I go!
I still forget.

But occasionally I take my phone and I snap a quick picture for my instagram, or for Facebook. These are the moments in our everyday life...

Sunday headed to church

 Getting my workout in by carrying Corinne ALL through Costco with a full cart. It was sweet, but exhausting.

Birthday Cake

I decided to make my own birthday cake on Saturday. Cause we can't have gluten or dairy, I made a GFCF cake. I got the recipe from a cake book I picked up. It's called The Cake Mix Doctor Bakes Gluten Free. Keyword here people, MIX. I'm a baker-kind-of-gal when the occasion strikes, but honestly, I'm still not all up on the baking GF thing. So I grabbed my GF Yellow Cake Mix, added vanilla, eggs, margarine, and some OJ. YUM. Made my own frosting with margarine, OJ and orange zest, and some powdered sugar.
It. Was. Scrumptious.

Happy birthday to me.
Yes. And you see how we took a picture of the cake before we put the candles in? I didn't want a holy cake for my picture. Also, it was actually 27 candles, however the tall ones all melted over! We were all laughing!!!

Manners Day

We got to go to Manner's day on my birthday, (I mentioned this...) and I got some great pictures of little silly Kallin getting ready to sing for us. (tried to upload the video, but alas, it seems blogger is struggling.)
Then he poured me and Corinne tea (juice) and gave us each cookies.
He was such a gentleman.

You're thinking, is there a dance that he's doing?! No, that's just Kallin. Talking expressively. (like his momma I suppose!)

Birthday Part 2

I had a special date for part 2 of my birthday. Kenny planned something special, we had reservations at somewhere on the strip... it was a surprise. 

We went to Sinatra at the Encore. 

Oh. My. Gosh. 

We had special treatment all night!! 

(Kenny knows the restaurant manager and a few of the other staff who work there. So they had us listed as VIP, and treated us amazing. Wow! I've never felt so pampered at a meal!)

As we arrived, they gave me a birthday card (aww...)

The food was divine. Incredible. Stunning. 

Meatballs and polenta fries, blue crab on a bed of cucumbers and tomato, tomato soup with lobster crostini, And that was just the appetizers! 

Main entree of truffle alfredo pasta (me), Filet Mignon (Kenny). 

And as you can see, they went nicely heavy on my truffle mushroom. The server just kept grating and grating, till Kenny finally said, "are you supposed to say "when" Chelsea?" 

Like I said, I got special treatment. 

For dessert, molten chocolate cake, espresso chocolate panna cotta, vanilla & pistachio panna cotta, pear almond pastry with cinnamon gelato, chocolate gelato.... 

...and now you've heard what I ate at the best meal of my life. 

Oh. My. 

Amazing. 

I wish I'd have been crazy woman and taken photos of each dish, but I forgot my big-girl camera, and only took some quick shots of the desserts with my phone. 

Let me tell you, it was all delicious. I ate every bite. 

Then, Kenny took me shopping. (gasp! He must love me, cause he really doesn't like to shop!)

He bought me a swim suit. It's too sexy for me to post on here... *wink wink.

Then encouraged me to go back to the ridiculously huge Forever 21, with out him, and buy some great stuff. Permission granted? You don't have to tell me twice!

I'm the luckiest woman in the world, this incredibly handsome man loves me, and treats me like a queen. I get to have him for eternity and I can't imagine that will be long enough. I'm 27 with the most beautiful children, a husband I adore, I've been so blessed! I'm so grateful for the great friends in my life, the wonderful examples I have around me, and the most wonderful family I can imagine. Life is wonderful. 

What a great kick off to my 27th year. 

Birthday Part 1

I'm 27. 

I started my lovely day with my little son climbing into my bed, snuggling up to me and giving me 4 sweet kisses... as he whispered... "happy birthday mommy" 

Gush... 

(He continued to ask me what I was doing for my birthday, what kind of party I was going to have... I told him just cake. He was disappointed that I was so dull and then told me his big plans for his Star Wars 6th birthday party. In detail.)

Then my littlest came in and walked in the bathroom, daddy told her, "go tell mom happy birthday!"

She walked right up to the bedside, and sang "happy birthday to you, happy birthday toooo youuuu." 

Melt...

Then my oldest came upstairs and came to my bed and said "Mom, happy birthday, I love you."

Awww... 

I helped the kids get ready as they all continued to wish me happy birthday. 

My husband kissed me good bye, and day progressed as usual. I emptied the dishwasher, washed a million dishes, got my kids dressed and ready, then dressed myself. The kids had a little spat, both had to be reprimanded. Then we went to Kallin's Manner's Day parent day.

Then my hubby met me for lunch at Pei Wei. Yummy. While there I got a phone call from the florist, she was delivering me flowers, so I told her a sneaky place to put them so they wouldn't get harmed. 

I got home and was ESTATIC to see my flowers, they are lovely!!! Bright, beautiful, and who could they be from??!?! (my husband already confessed it wasn't him)

I read the card. 

"Happy Birthday to the best big sister! 

Guess Who?"

Ummmm... I have 7 sisters. All younger... who was it?!?!! Cierra? Alexa? Brie? Ry? Chloe? Who did this?! I love them! Who do I call first?!?! 

I had to investigate. Not Cierra, nor Chloe. Brie didn't send them. (by the way all the sisters wanted to take credit, hehe!) Ry, no, Chloe is pretty sure it's not her either. I've left Alexa a voice mail... it must be her, she's the only one who I haven't actually talked to.... 

So Thank You so much  ALEXA! Process of elimination... it must be you!! 

NO, not from her..... Who are they from?!?! 

awww... I love them. 

I called my home.... told my mom I got mysterious flowers... 

She answers me... "They're from ME!! Me and Dad!!!" 

Now, I'm rolling laughing!!! I called everyone... Awww.... mom, dad! They are wonderful! I love them so much! THANK YOU! I should have known! But, mom you fooled me good! 

Mom also said that each child can take a little bit of credit for the flowers. 

Best day ever. Right?! Yes, It's a great day! I've still got half a day left!!! 

I've gotten a dozen texts and over 100 Facebook birthday wishes. I feel so special!! Thanks everyone! 

Sunny Weather

Living in Las Vegas area this time of year is beautiful. It's a perfect sunny day. So I shipped the kids outside with a big bowl of popcorn to enjoy it! They were so cute! They didn't fight or argue for at least an hour. (sometimes after a long 4 day weekend, that's like FOREVER in this house! Even though my kids love each other and are angels always...)

Seriously, does that not look like the most fun ever?! It's was a really great day. The kids had a blast, they were all silly, and having so much fun in the yard. I really loved watching them play and laughing at all the silly things they did. Colette is my little kooky one, she was so funny. I'm so glad that I have these 3 little munchkins!!!
