Merry Christmas!

Christmas was wonderful.
We did a devotional before bed, going over once again the REAL meaning of Christmas.
The cutest thing ever was how perfectly Kallin understood that we were celebrating Jesus' birth. He said "OH! It's his birthday party! Ok, I get it!" Too funny!!!
The next morning the kids were really really excited to come see what Santa brought.
I snuck downstairs with gasps and yells-- cause Santa DID come! I took pictures of the things the kids got before they came down...
 Kallin's collection of goodies!
 Colette's awesome doll and books.
Corinne's things... wait... that's odd... what an interesting sign...
I wonder where the green arrows will lead...
A KITCHEN!
After all that work, Santa was surely hungry, he ate all the pumpkin bread and mint truffles left for him! Even polishing off the Soymilk Egg Nog. That carrot we put out for the reindeer was gone too!!!
The sleepy-eyed kids could hardly wait for Grandpa Ken & Grandma Cia to come! They were SO excited!
Kallin had a GREAT reaction to his pile!! TRAINS?!?
Corinne got to her pile and was thrilled over the Barbie DVD's for a while...
Colette dug right in, and shyly adored her American Girl doll that looks JUST like her!
 Don't forget that delicious candy!
Then we ALL followed the green arrows to see what Corinne got....
Then we convinced Corinne to come back in to the living room so we could do some unwrapping.
COLETTE

Colette got some great things... baking goods, diary, lalaloopsy carry-all, doll & dress, zoobles, chocolates, and so many wonderful things!
KALLIN
Kallin opened the gift for all the kids, 3 Wii games! Dora, Mario Kart & Mario Party8 (unfortunately, the Mario Party was broken- we returned it, and the kids ended up getting a DS game each, lalaloopsy for Colette & Mario Kart DS for Kallin.)
Kallin was SO excited to unwrap RATCHET the transformer! He hollered the name RATCHET!!! As he opened it! He didn't know what the next one's name was, so in his low voice he said... "aaannnnddd... what's his name...."

Kallin got some great goodies, too! Crazy Forts (to share) and transformers GALORE!
The big Iornhide from Grandma Vonna and Grandpa Sean.
 CORINNE
Cocolates from Grandpa Paul!! Ohhh..... sugar-holic was HAPPY!
  Playing with our new things...
The goodies all over the couch...
directions and instructions all over the place...
Setting up legos, train set, playing kitchen, dolls, and make-believe.

playing in the new CRAZY Fort
Watching new movies....
Finally, playing American Girl online!
(the biggest reason this little gal wanted an American Girl Doll!!)

It really was a great Christmas... one of the best... but I say that every year....
Happy Christmas to everyone!
