They are incredible! They must take after their daddy! Every time I talk to Tara (Aunt Tara teaches them), she tells me how great they are doing! Colette is getting solid on her form that she'll do to test & she is really wonderful at kicks! She says she'll be better than daddy soon. Tara tells me that Colette is very good at taking directions, if she says "load it like a front kick, then take it to the side" she does it EXACTLY as told. What a cool gal! She's really enjoying herself at class!
Kallin Just started, now he likes karate so much he will do anything (even eat!) to go! Tara told me that he is really applying himself and loves to be helpful. When the class did attacking techniques he thought it was so entertaining he was knee-slapping laughing (literally!) he then came home and made Kenny practice attacking techniques for like 15 minutes, laughing all the way and instructing Kenny when to do what. Last week Tara let him pick the best at warm-ups, he instantly said "I choose Coco.." Tara interrupted him and said, "Kallin, you have to wait till we are done to choose." he said "ok" then waited, watching carefully. Tara told him it was time to choose, and he readily said "I choose COCO, and Phillip." (he had been watching 'cause Phillip did a great job at warm-ups!) I love that these two are becoming so excited about karate. They really do love it so much!
