Colette Tested for her next belt. I couldn't go, but thankfully Marcia grabbed her camera and documented it for me... Look at my little Karate Kid! Gold with a Stripe here we come!

Painting With Corinne
Actually it wasn't painting "with" Corinne, more like me watching Corinne paint. She didn't like it at all when I helped! NOT AT ALL! She would say "no! mama!" She's quite the little independent one! She had so much fun making a beautiful piece of art!

Love Is Beginning to Bloom....
We are feeling the LOVE.
Really, Valentines decor is up, and love is in the air, or at least it's everywhere you look!
Some of you might notice that I moved the hutch! It was a pain, but we stuck it on the back wall instead of the left wall. It's opened up the space a bit. I might leave it for a while, or might put it back, I haven't fully decided. I love it there for now! I've also got a hankering for some creating! I'm really hoping I can make some cute valentine stuff--- I'd love to add to my decor!

Pizza Party Parent Day
For this month, on Parent Day we all went to METRO PIZZA here in Henderson and made our own pizzas! It was really fun, and super tasty! Kallin loved getting to make his pizza! Then after they were done making their pizza, they got to play with dough. An all around fun time!
Photo Op of the kids, both of which were great!

When The Kids Got Sick.
If you've been wondering where we've been--- Our kids got sick. Not a bad sickness, just a mild fever thing. I actually got LOADS of snuggles out of it! Take a peek of some of the snuggles that we all had!
Best Sister Buddies!
This was a photo op, I made Colette run and get the camera. You see, Corinne HAD to be right with me all the time, and Kallin also wanted to snuggle, so we all piled on the couch and squishy snuggled!

The New Year Bike Ride
On January 1st my sister came over and we let the kids ride in the street like crazy, it was cold as can be but the kids had so much fun...
KALLIN
COLETTE
Since Colette got that big 2 wheel bike from Santa for Christmas, we had Uncle Eric take the pedals off Colette's bike so she could get a feel for balancing on 2 wheels. It's working really well. And that's how they taught tiny 4 year old Carson to ride.
Colette & Carson had a blast going up and down the street getting a feel for riding fast.
CARSON
And though it was COLD outside. REALLY COLD. We parents watched & cheered the kids on.

All About doTerra
So I'm newly obsessed with the coolest thing EVER.
It's all about the oils. essential oils.
I've really been happy with the things I've used my oils for. They work so fast and seem to really make a huge impact.
For example, I've used Peppermint for fevers & headaches, tummy aches and mood lifting.
Melaleuca for immune system boost, ear aches & cold virus. Oregano for a wart, immune boost, and yeast infection. Lemon for dry throat, mood lifting and for a little cleaning. Lavender to sleep, for stress reduction and skin irritations. Deep Blue for muscle aches. Frankincense for an exceptionally wicked headache. I love the On Guard for immune system boost & sore throat. I'm becoming a fan on Breathe for my kids when they are congested and stuffy.
I'm constantly ordering more... and adding more to my wish list. I'm really happy with the product. It's so pure. You see a lot of oils will say "Pure" on them, but that's not really PURE like doTerra's PURE. when you buy doTerra you get 100% plant oil, meaning they don't pre-mix it with a filler oil. They also check the batches each before they go out to the public, checking things that other companies don't-- like making sure there is no fertilizer or pesticides in your oil. It's 100% good stuff! They call it CPTG (certified pure therapeutic grade)
So I add just 1 drop of an oil to a tsp or so of my fractionated coconut oil (I measure in my hand), and rub! I'm loving the fact that I get to choose how much I use and how potent I want the essential oil to be, depending on what I'm aiming to effect. It's also the only one that you can use Internally. There are a few oils they don't want you ingesting, but doTerra is the only company I've seen that has such a high grade oil you can use it internally. Most oils you see at health food stores say "do not ingest" on the back.
I've heard other incredible things, oils that are really remarkable. doTerra has an oil called Melissa that stops a virus in it's tracks, like a flu... just halts it. The other big thing about Melissa is that it is said to be able to cross the blood brain barrier (BBB) allowing oxygen to travel to the brain, adding a clear and focused feeling. Melissa has the ability to re-connect areas of the brain that are not functioning properly. (I want to try this for Kallin!) I can't wait to try it... Melissa is the most expensive oil, so I'm saving up.. it's $153.33 retail and $115 Wholesale. It's on my wish list for sure.
These oils are amazing. I'm really blown away by the things I've treated and how fast it works.
Kenny had a skin rash from waxing... a little coconut oil and lavender and it was no longer swelling and irritated. Within minutes it was normal looking. I also used the lavender for my own itchy winter skin, and it was like instant soothe...
Colette was running a fever and I wiped a little coconut oil/peppermint mix on her chest, neck, ears and forehead.... she started to cool. (I gave her Motrin too, the purpose here is that the oil helped make her comfortable, and help her relax from the 102.9 till when the Motrin kicked in. It made that 1/2 hour much less miserable.)
I'm finding that when I use the Melaleuca and On Guard for immune boost- colds are shorter.
My favorite "cure" was when I had a yeast infection and I used Oregano. I felt better in less than 10 minutes.
And they smell amazing.
A friend told me today that she's lost 10 lbs with the 'Slim & Sassy' oil. Uh, I'm so getting that one...
You can go to my website to purchase, look into it, and just familiarize yourself with the oils.

If you have an ailment and want me to look it up in my book, email me or message me and I will let you know what I find out. Friends of mine are getting oils from me for specific conditions or problems. That's where you really see the effects and you get to see results.
Yes, I'm a consultant. I believe too strongly in them not to be!
Look into this, for you & your family. it's really incredible. I've loved treating my family using the oils, they are safe and natural so I know that it's not going to harm them. With all the studies coming out about drugs being harmful to our children, I love exploring alternative routes that are save and healthy ways to treat my children.
