Opening, a great group that did some incredible cover songs (glee style) The kids were bouncing out of their seats!
Ken came on and did the most incredible job. Rarely do they have the GAMA president give the opening speech, he was given that honor and he did an absolutely incredible job!
The kids felt slightly famous, when their photo was on the big stage.
Then we headed over to the hotel, for a hotel-day, where we played in the awesome jungle gym. I can't even tell you how cool this was...
Then we went for a walk across the bridge to see the main pool (it was big, with a huge water feature for the kids to play in!)
Then we went swimming, in the pool by our hotel room (less cool, but still great) complete with little splash area.
Kallin played ball with some new friends, he was chatting it up, giggling and enjoying these new people!
Corinne was still a little unsure of the water, and decided to safely sit on the edge. The little diva, said hello to everyone and soon had a group of women, all listening to her chatter away. She was the center of attention and loved every minute of it!
After deciding that sitting was boring, she decided to walk along the entire edge of the pool... her new teen friend followed her as they talked.
When daddy got there, suddenly she was all for the water, and got in to swim like a fish!! Guess she just needed a little warm-up.
Before too long, she was JUMPING IN!
I did my normal pool-side thing... basked in the sun.
Colette had been swimming for a while, she was right along with Kallin playing catch, making friends and socializing... and got a little tired, so she joined me and we had some fun with the camera...

Then she decided swimming was WAY more fun, so she got back in...
Kallin was a FISH from the start, he was in that water, playing with his new friends, and swimming under the water.... he slapped some goggles on and suddenly he was like Aqua Man! I'm not kidding, he is a FISH. I swear he has gills. He seriously told me he wants to learn to breathe underwater.
And he really liked JUMPING IN, too.
Later that night, we had a BBQ at the hotel with Courtney and Ryan. The boys decided to try to find the gas grill. It was LITERLY across the hotel compound. A long way. So we decided (not knowing how far it was) to walk to them (they were taking too long.) On our way we discovered we'd forgotten the room key, we had no choice to meet up (across the hotel) with the boys. We took a short cut, across the green (naughty us.) the kids thought it was a great park... haha!
The boys grilled us up some great shish-kabobs, prepped by Courtney. While the kids waited, they watched a movie on my phone. I was sent back to fetch the car, as we all didnt want to walk back and have our dinner get cold! We had a great dinner together.

Looks like Fun! That's pretty awesome that Kenny's dad spoke. I'm expecting to see him up there in a few years.
