Thanksgiving (Both Families)

Each year we do a Gallacher's Thanksgiving, and then for the actual day of Thanksgiving, we go to my Parent's house in Kanab. These are our thanksgivings.
At Ken & Marcia's we had laughs, and we did an family quiz about Thanksgiving, what it's about and what we are grateful for.

I always KICK myself when I don't get pictures of the food!!! It was delicious. I should know, I had 2 plates piled high and couldn't move after!

Then we headed to McCall's Baptism in Kanab (I forgot my camera, so I have no pictures of the baptism).
McCall looked beautiful and she was so happy! I gave the talk on the Holy Ghost and it was a very special experience for me.

Thanksgiving was very "Crosby". We talked loudly. We helped each other pick out their clothes, we chatted and chatted and chatted. The kids played on the playground, and grandma Vonna and Grandma Pat (great-to my kids) cooked.

This is awesome because the Turkey was SO TENDER that it quite literally fell off the bone, and fell apart. They couldn't even get the bag off without the Turkey falling into pieces. And my mom laughed the whole time, while my dad directed orders. We all laughed.
 Everyone looked smashingly beautiful.

The kids loved playing out on the playground, and went out GASP, Barefooted and without jackets. It was COLD. Well, especially for our desert blood. That's why you see pink cheeks so much!

Colette, McCall and Alyse all dressed their dolls up in red, to match themselves.
Dad cooked like an Iorn Chef, while in the other room Justin played the piano.

It was a really fun added benefit to have Granny Pat there for the holiday. She cooked delicious foods (along with my parents) and was great company!

The Girls. (all in one photo! WOW!)
And then a FAMILY PHOTO! I know, it's a big deal for us.
Grandpa Crosby (far left) was there, and he had us rolling laughing at dinner, he was so fun to have! He was making hilarious whispered funny comments as we took this family photo. No one could hear him but Kenny and I, and we were laughing!!!

It was a great Thanksgiving. And I'm so grateful I get to do it in DOUBLE each year, with both sides of my family! Eating double of my favorite foods is a really great tradition!
I feel like I have so much to be thankful for at this time of year, and I really don't need anything. It's a marvelous thing to look at life and see how blessed we are. I'm truly blessed. Happy Thanksgiving!
