After the Crosby Family Reunion, we let Colette stay with Grandma & Grandpa. I was a little teeny bit worried, she had never been away from us that long. She's never ever been one to be scared to go to a sleepover, but I thought a whole week?! She was AMAZING. I had to try not to be offended that she was not missing us at all. (I'm sure it had to do with the FUN that she had! Aunties to play with, and full rein of the house!? She was in heaven!) My mom said that she really was incredible, so well behaved, and never once scared or wished to go home.... Whoa!
It ended up being over a week, closer to 2 weeks!! She got to go do so many fun things and one of those fun things was LAKE POWELL! (We were going to come to the lake in the beginning but ended up moving that weekend instead.) What can I say, she's a LAKE GIRL through and through. Just like her mama.
She had such a great time. And she cried when we went home. She loves going with her Grandparents!
She told me that it was the best trip ever.
