Florida (Getting There)

Meeting the Pilot. 

 The flight wasn't so bad, with all the kids they entertained each other, watched movies together, played with toys, read books and were really excited to fly! The older kids were so funny, telling each other "my stomach is full of butterflies" or "I can't believe it, we are flying!" It was great. The cousins really had a fun time on the flight. Kenny slept, I didn't get to rest, or read, cause I was helping take turns entertaining the little girls (Corinne, Kenly & Alle). We had a great flight. Upon arrival, they opened the cabin door and a rush of muggy air hit... ahhh... that humidity!! It was welcome!

One skycap helped us all with our luggage, he impressed us all by loading his cart with EVERYTHING. Whoa. That's talent!! 

 For dinner our family went to Downtown Disney. We hit the Lego shop, saw Woody and Kallin drooled over the massive amounts of legos!

 We ate at a chicken place, had candy apples and rice krispies from the Candy Cauldron, and then wandered.  We had a great time. They had a whole bunch of St. Patty's day stuff going on, throwing beads, stilts walkers, bands and so much more. It was a really fun way to kick off our Florida trip, even though we were EXHAUSTED by the time we got back to the hotel.

The Fashion Show Mall

Auntie Lala and Matt came into town this weekend and we all went to the mall. 

The Fashion Show. They were supposed to have the bag I wanted, the didn't so we spent all day walking around looking and no one had it this bag... we had a TON of fun along the way. Who doesn't love shopping?!?!!?

Book Fair Friday

On Friday we went to the school to drop off Colette at school, while there we hit the book fair and got some great books for the kids! Gotta support the school!! We got some great Star Wars books for Kallin, and some Rainbow Magic chapter books for Colette. We also got some share books like Shoe-la-la (a favorite of Corinne's) and Camilla the Cupcake Fairy. Corinne picked 2 books too, a Disney Princess book and a fairy book. Believe me, everyone was happy. 

We're going to take them to Florida with us so the kids can read on the airplane!! 

What our week looked like....

This is so hard, my posts sometimes only include Corinne... and mostly that's because she's with me all day, while the kids go to school. I need to document more AFTERNOONS. That way I'll get more of my cute Kallin and adorable Colette!!

The LORAX

We had a really busy day on Friday.
Kenny came home and I went to Papa's funeral (Mike, Aunt Courtney's grandfather passed away...) it was a touching memorial and we all left saddened, yet peaceful.

I'd decided to make it a fun day for the kids, and really enjoy the life I've been given, really appreciate the little ones in my life. We went to The Lorax. We met up with Janine and her kids, and we all enjoyed the movie 3D. The kids loved it. I mean really really loved it. Corinne sat through the entire thing and laughed! It was so much fun. The movie itself is really, really, really, really great. I loved it. (can you tell?)
