Playing with my Christmas Gift....

So, I'm an extremely impatient person.... and I got my Christmas gift... so I am using it early... and I'm loving it.

It's a Canon EOS Rebel T2i Camera.

It's fun.
It's intimidating sometimes, and I really don't know HOW to use it, YET.
I'm learning by using it... so here we go...

 

 I took some pictures of one of the cutest girls around... as she played...

 {how funny is this?! This is Corinne's dress for the day, it's really only 1/2 a dress. Just a sheer overlay. It made me giggle that she ran around in it all day!}

I'm working in the Aperture Priority mode right now, doing all manual focusing. 

I tried to mess with the light, but I'm still a beginner... this is my 1st day.... 

 I played with depth of field... and that was really fun I think.

So I'm playing.... and having lots of fun.... and making mistakes... and figuring it out...

REMEMBER... none of this is photoshopped, I don't have photoshop, YET.

Shark Reef & Shopping

When Grandpa Sean & Grandma Vonna came into town (with the kids) we all met up and went to the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. The kids all had a blast, it's really so cool! Here's some pic's of our adventure. {iPhone pictures, so excuse the imperfections.}

Later we went and did a little shopping, and while there discovered a great "Corinne" store. Sephora. Heaven for Corinne! {and the other girls, too! you should have seen the make up!}
